NSW Police investigating stabbing outside Revesby Workers’ Club
A man who ran to the aid of a security guard who was allegedly being threatened by a patron is in hospital after he was stabbed in the chest.

A bystander has been taken to hospital after allegedly being stabbed multiple times outside a club in Sydney’s southwest.
Emergency services were called to the Revesby Workers’ Club on MacArthur Ave shortly before 4am on Wednesday following reports a man had been stabbed in his chest and side.
Bankstown Police Area Command officers were called after reports of a patron having been kicked out of the club, before returning and allegedly threatening a security guard with a knife.
A man who saw the scene unfolding went to the assist the guard and was allegedly stabbed twice by the armed man.
A 73-year-old man was wrestled to the ground and held until police arrived.
He has been taken to Bankstown Police Station where inquiries are underway.
The injured man was taken to Liverpool Hospital where his condition is described as being serious but stable.
