A man has been lucky to escape with his life after a luxury boat fire in Sydney’s north.
The vessel caught alight in the water of Akuna Bay on Sydney’s northern beaches.
The man in his 30s managed to escaped the fire but has suffered arm, leg and facial injuries.
He’s was treated by paramedics at a nearby marina while water-borne firefighters are trying to extinguish the blaze.
He has been airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital.
