Police have confirmed a man in his 20s has died following a serious crash in Sydney’s west where he became trapped under a bus.

A man has died after becoming trapped under a bus following a serious crash in Sydney.
Emergency services were called to the scene of Warren Rd and the Liverpool-Parramatta TransitWay near Smithfield about 11.30am on Friday.
It followed reports of a serious crash involving a bus and a car along the road.
The driver of the smaller vehicle - a man in his 20s - was trapped and pronounced dead at the scene.
The bus driver, a 58-year-old woman, was uninjured.
A NSW Police spokesman said she had been taken to Westmead Hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene has been established and examined by specialist officers attached to the Metropolitan Crash Investigations Unit.
An investigation has commenced into the circumstance surrounding the crash and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
