Disturbing footage of road rage incident at KFC in Sydney west

A man was filmed being flung into the air after allegedly being rammed by a woman behind the wheel of an Audi.

A 26-year-old P-plate driver was arrested during a dramatic scuffle with police in Sydney’s west after a man was hit with an Audi in a KFC carpark.

Footage of both the road rage incident and subsequent arrest has emerged online, with the white luxury car involved in an altercation on Hoxton Rd in Liverpool.

Police will allege another woman, 30, from a group in a Ford Explorer approached the 26-year-old on foot at about noon on Saturday and “hit the Audi a number of times”.

“The Audi driver then allegedly accelerated towards the parked Ford crashing into the rear and hitting a man,” NSW Police said in a statement.

The man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

“He suffered minor injuries and was later taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment.”

Police were called to the area and arrested the P-plater after a “short struggle”, as the woman allegedly kicked and spat on an officer.

The younger woman was charged with resist officer in execution of duty, assault officer in execution of duty, affray, knowingly drive vehicle in menacing manner, and drive while licence cancelled.

She was refused bail on Saturday and was due to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.

The 30-year-old was also charged with damaging property and affray before being granted bail.

She is due to face Liverpool Local Court on September 23.
