The brother of slain underworld figure Amar Kettule has been charged with supplying cocaine following a bust in Sydney’s west.
Feras Kettule, also known as Calvin Mansour, was arrested during a vehicle stop in Edensor Park in early December.
While Kettule, 35, was charged that night with supplying a large commercial quantity of cocaine, his passenger was released.
He is due to face Fairfield Local Court on Friday.
A month after his arrest, Kettule’s older brother, Amar, was shot dead outside his Fairfield apartment block.
Amar, 38, was a key figure in the True Kings street gang.
He suffered a similar fate to his younger brother, Dyllan, 19, who was executed in Canley Vale in 2014.
On Friday, police caught up with the passenger – 38-year-old Sam Kako – in Kettule’s car and revealed the pair had both been charged.
The Bass Hill Region Enforcement Squad raided Kako’s home at Middleton Grange and seized cash, cannabis and multiple mobile phone phones.
Kako was taken to Liverpool Police station and charged with commercial drug supply.
Police will allege he was involved in the large scale distribution of cocaine across Sydney.
He is due to front court on Friday.
The arrests followed a joint investigation by the Organised Crime Squad and the NSW Crime Commission.
