The mystery surrounding an elderly woman’s sudden disappearance from Sydney’s west has deepened as police reveal her fugitive son was living with her at the time.
Nadire Sensoy, aged 71, vanished not long after she was last seen at her home on Upwey Street, Prospect on December 6, 2018.
She was reported missing days later, on December 11 2018, after her family visited her home and she wasn’t there.
Police are offering a $350,000 reward to help solve the mother’s “puzzling” disappearance.
It comes as The Daily Telegraph can reveal Ms Sensoy’s son is fugitive Selim Sensoy – who has been on the run since a jailbreak from Glen Innes Correctional Centre in late May.
Police have now confirmed that Mr Sensoy, aged 44, was living with Ms Sensoy at the time she vanished. Police have not said Mr Sensoy is a person of interest.

CCTV footage of Ms Sensoy in the month before she disappeared without a trace show her pushing a shopping trolley filled with clothes through Blacktown Shopping Centre.
The woman is seen glancing behind her as though she is being watched, before clutching at and checking her phone.
Officers from Blacktown Police Command established an investigation into the disappearance under Strike Force Admiralty.
The case has run cold for almost two years and Ms Sensoy has not been seen or heard from since 2018.
Police have serious concerns for her welfare and are treating the sudden disappearance as suspicious.
Police Minister David Elliott this morning said “someone must know something” about the elderly woman’s disappearance.
She was described by police as a “family-oriented” person and a “devoted” mother and grandmother who would not leave her family.
“It’s puzzling to say the least that no one has seen or heard from her in nearly two years. Mrs Sensoy is not the type of person to just up and leave without telling anyone,” Superintendent Stephen Eggington said.
Her distraught daughter Turkan Alagoz, 53, said it was unlike her mother to disappear without a trace.
“It’s been so difficult not knowing where mum is, and not being able to speak with her. Please, if you know where she is or have any information that can help police find her, I beg you to come forward.”
Mrs Sensoy is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 165cm tall, of a thin build, and with short dyed brown hair.
The $350,000 reward can be paid for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for her disappearance.
