A man has sustained multiple gunshot injuries and is in a serious condition after a shooting in Sydney’s south this morning.
Mohammed Saab, 37, was shot in the ribs, shoulder and leg on Knoll Ave in Turrella in what police believe was a targeted attack.
Chief Inspector Chris Hill said the shooting happened out the front of Mr Saab’s home just before 7am this morning.

“A dark coloured sedan was seen leaving the area,” Insp Hill said.
“Some of the information that has come forward leads us to believe this was not a random incident,” he said.
The well known local businessman’s family were home at the time of the attack and police say the neighbours are “shocked”
A neighbour and close relative said she heard gunshots and screaming this morning.
She said she could see “lots of blood”.
Another who works with Mr Saab, said he was a “top bloke” and a “role model”.
He said his dad heard the shots and said he thought it was a crane falling.
“He’s very nice, he’s the best. To be honest with you he’s a role model,” the neighbour said.
