Episode 4 – Fire, Meth and Axes

A young northern suburbs woman who spoke of her distrust for police after her partner was tasered by a cop at close range is herself wanted by police on several outstanding warrants — including for assaulting an officer.

Sivan Dovale, 25, blasted NSW Police on social media after her partner Kris Bradshaw was captured on video being tasered by police at close range on Monday.

Police will allege Bradshaw, 31, had stolen a bag in Paddington, before being arrested in a park in Darlinghurst.

Ms Dovale told Nine News: “I feel heartbroken. I hate Australian police now. I don’t feel like I can trust them at all.”

She posted to her Facebook the same day: “My boyfriend of three years is an innocent man and an Aboriginal. You’re going down you f****** pigs.”

Dovale is herself wanted on a string of outstanding warrants for alleged offences including resisting arrest, driving while suspended and assaulting an officer.

Police appealed for information on Wednesday to help them find the 25-year-old who they said was believed to frequent Sydney’s inner suburbs and Northern Beaches.

It comes nearly four years after Ms Dovale spoke to The Daily Telegraph about how Muay Thai boxing helped her turn her life around from the grips of ice addiction, after she started using drugs at just 13.

At the time she had the goal of winning an Australian title.

“I could not have been more grateful for Muay Thai, I’ve got everything back together now,” she said.

Dovale opened up about her struggles with drug addiction in the article.

“It escalated into an addiction of methamphetamine and I was struggling for a really long time with that and I eventually moved onto heroin,” she said.

“I was living on the streets in Kings Cross and was in and out of hospital.

“There were a couple of horrific things that happened in my years of using.

“I was getting robbed and raped, it was pretty bad. It makes you have a reality check.”

Anyone who may have information about Ms Dovale’s whereabouts is being urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The Central Local Court on Tuesday was told Bradshaw was also in breach of an apprehended violence order, taken out over an alleged assault of Dovale.

He is due to reappear in court on Friday.
