An Instagram model has avoided jail after she was caught moonlighting as a drug dealer during a Christmas cocaine crackdown. Days after her arrest, Vera Zinger was flaunting a scintillating post of a swimwear photo shoot at Bronte Beach.

An Instagram model has avoided jail time after she was caught moonlighting as a drug dealer during a Christmas cocaine crackdown.

Vera Zinger, 23, of Rosebery, was sentenced to a 13-month intensive corrections order in Downing Centre Local Court last Friday.

Zinger was pulled over in Barangaroo, before officers allegedly found four bags containing 2g of drugs along with $2150 cash, on November 29.

Only days later, Zinger was flaunting a scintillating post of a swimwear photo shoot on the stairs above Bronte baths to her Instagram followers.

Zinger was one of 84 people arrested on cocaine charges in a citywide police crackdown.

She has posted from some of the world’s most sought-after locations, including the Amalfi coast in Italy, the Greek islands and resorts in Dubai.

In court, Magistrate Roger Prowse convicted Zinger of supplying prohibited drugs, possessing prohibited drugs and dealing with the proceeds of crime after accepting her guilty pleas.

As part of her corrections order, she must not commit any offence and must submit to supervision by a community corrections officer.

She was also fined $3950 and must undergo psychological treatment and counselling from her doctor for a period determined by him.

Zinger was one of 40 people arrested during a police operation.

Zinger was one of more than 40 alleged dealers from all walks of society — from a taxi driver to a pregnant mum and even a member of the air force — arrested during the police operation.

Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Bell has previously said he was taken aback at the variety of professionals allegedly involved in drug dealing.

“There are a number of people from well-respected professions who were arrested,” he said.
