Five men will face court for their involvement in criminal groups stealing and onselling vehicles across Sydney.

Five men have been charged after a crackdown on criminal groups allegedly stealing and selling cars across Sydney.
Police raided properties across Sydney’s northwest earlier this month after reports luxury and high performance cars were being stolen in robberies across the Sydney area in November 2020.
Financial Crimes Squad motor unit investigators stormed a house on Heffron Rd, Lalor Park on February 12, seizing a 2019 Mercedes C220, which was reported stolen from a home in Bella Vista the day before, and cannabis and ice.
Karl Dyba, 52, and 29 year-old Mitchell Everingham were arrested at the scene and taken to Quakers Hill Police Station, where Dyba was charged with receiving a motor vehicle part theft serious indictable offence and two counts of drug possession.
He will appear in Blacktown Local Court on March 4.
Everingham was charged with possess prohibited drug and deal with property proceeds of crime and granted conditional bail to appear at the same court on March 15.
Another home on Magga Dan Rd, Tregear was searched on February 16, where police arrested 35 year-old Terry Daw and found keys for a Subaru and Audi, mobile phones, clothing and other items for investigation.
Daw was taken to Mt Druitt Police Station and charged with three counts of aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence, three counts of steal motor vehicle and five counts of knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.
Investigators will allege in court the 35 year-old took part in recent break and enter and thefts in Sylvania, Gledswood Hills, Harrington Park and Bella Vista.
Daw was refused bail and appeared before Mt Druitt Local Court the same day, where he was refused bail again to front the same court on April 21.
Nathan Hartshorn, 19, was then arrested on Wednesday at a Schofields home before being charged with eight counts of receive/dispose stolen property and three counts of aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence.
Police will allege in court Hartshorn was involved in break, enter and steal offences in West Hoxton and Glenhaven.
He was refused bail to appear before Mt Druitt Local Court on Thursday before being formally refused bail to appear at the same court on April 28.
A fifth man aged 30 was arrested on February 12 at Hall St, St Marys, who police allege was trying to sell a motorcycle online which was reported stolen from a house in Rosebery the day prior.
Detectives seized the bike, the man was charged with possessing goods suspected stolen and granted bail to face Penrith Local Court on March 15.
It comes as the Financial Crime squad created Strike Force Swete to investigate the string of thefts, alleged to be orchestrated by several criminal syndicates.
Police sources confirmed the five men had links to “a number” of Sydney crime groups and are still working to figure out how many vehicles had been stolen in the operations.
Investigations are ongoing.
