She was the bikini model and socialite who made headlines when she was caught dealing cocaine from her Eastern Sydney pad - now police claim Kirsty Dayment was allegedly found with a knife in public.
Police Transport Command officers were patrolling Haymarket when they allegedly spotted a vehicle parked in a loading bay outside a block of apartments in September last year.
The officers spoke with the 39-year-old Dayment and searched her vehicle where they allegedly found a kitchen knife, NSW Police said.
She was not arrested but instead given a court attendance notice for having custody of a knife in a public place – first offence.
Dayment faced Downing Centre Local Court in December and again in January and has pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The socialite, in 2017, was handed three years in prison after pleading guilty to supplying more than 85 grams of cocaine and the supply of MDMA.
A police raid had uncovered cocaine and more than a kilogram of MDMA.
The court, at the time, heard Dayment knew the MDMA was in the apartment but did not play an active role in its planned distribution.
She will return to court to fight the knife charge in June.
