A man has been shot in the stomach on the Central Coast

A man is refusing to co-operate with police after being shot on the Central Coast in the early hours of this morning.

New footage released as police probe Fairfield shooting

A man is recovering in hospital after being shot in the stomach on the Central Coast.

Police have established four crime scenes at different locations because the victim hasn’t revealed where he was shot or who pulled the trigger.

Emergency services were called to a house on Main Street in Killarney Vale about 4:15am today.

Paramedics treated a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his abdomen before he was transported to the John Hunter Hospital.

It is understood the man was well known to police and so far, has not cooperated.

Police have set up crime scenes at the Main Street home as well as homes on Chapel Street and Hamilton Street and outside a supermarket on Wyong Road.

Anyone with information or dash cam footage of these areas is urged to contact Wyong Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
