A woman who died in a house fire in southern NSW has been remembered as someone “loved by all”. Her son was charged with murder overnight.

A NSW mother who died in a house fire in the state’s south has been remembered as someone “loved by all ‘’ as her son, who has been charged with her murder, faced court on Monday.

Nerol Doble, 65, died in hospital on Sunday night after she sustained severe burns to 90 per cent of her body during a fire at her home in Bribbaree, 50km northwest of Young.

Emergency services rushed to the property in regional NSW at midday on Sunday after multiple triple-0 calls that the 65-year-old had been injured in the house fire.

Ms Doble was found inside the Bribbaree Road home with serious burns and was treated by paramedics at the scene before she was flown to Royal North Shore Hospital.

She died overnight on Sunday, and a report on her death will be prepared for the coroner.

A family member told The Daily Telegraph Ms Doble would be “sadly missed”.

“She was loved by all her family,” nephew Peter Meyers said.

Fire crews were able to extinguish the house fire, but the home was destroyed.

A teenage girl was also treated for burns to her legs and was transported to Young Health Service.

Police at the scene launched a search for Ms Doble’s 42-year-old son Shannon Doble, issuing an alert for the public to call police if they saw a grey HiLux dual-cab ute.

Doble later handed himself into Parkes Police Station, about 145km away, and he was charged with four domestic violence offences including murder, causing wounding or grievous bodily harm to person with intent to murder, damaging property by fire or explosion greater than $15,000 and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He was refused bail and appeared before Young Local Court on Monday via audio - visual link , where police withdrew the charge of causing wounding or grievous bodily harm with intent to murder.

Doble made no application for release for the remaining three offences, and Magistrate Don McLennan formally refused the 42 year-old bail.

He is set to reappear before Young Local Court on March 4.

Ms Doble previously urged her friends on Facebook to donate to domestic violence organisation Full Stop Australia in December 2022 as a way to celebrate her birthday.

“I’ve chosen this nonprofit because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope you’ll consider contributing as a way to celebrate with me,” she wrote online.

“Every little bit will help me reach my goal.“
