‘Whip marks, tattoos and chains’: White supremacist to be sentenced on child sex stories

A peroxide blonde white supremacist - who says Adolf Hitler was the world’s “greatest person” - has been caught in jail making vile child sex abuse comics.

A white supremacist has pleaded guilty to making disturbing child sex abuse comics from his prison cell - starring himself, bestiality, and two young girls.

Michael James Holt, 31, who appeared via video link in court with a peroxide crew cut and black sunglasses, sat steely faced through his sentence hearing, only responding “yeah” when asked by the judge to confirm his guilt.

Holt, previously labelled by a District Court judge as “extremely dangerous”, pleaded guilty to possessing and producing child abuse material after officers found the illustrations he drew during a cell search on March 16, 2020.

He was found with a seven page comic book story involving himself and two girls, aged three and six, and separate graphic drawn images, the District Court heard on Monday.

“They are children engaged in sexual penetrative acts by themselves and with others, with objects and bestiality. There was a level of cruelty and degradation in a number of images...some included whip marks, tattoo wording, chains..there were some involving tears,” Crown Prosecutor Kimberly McKenzie told the court.

Holt has spent the last five years in prison, after police thwarted his plan to shoot up Westfield Tuggerah, finding child sex abuse images and several homemade guns and weapons during a house search.

Dozens of weapons found at Holt’s home after police were given a tip off he wanted to shoot up a shopping centre.

Judge ­Jeffrey McLennan told the court in 2017, Holt was “obsessed with guns, sex and death”, was “extremely dangerous”, and could have been the next Port Arthur mass murderer, Martin Bryant.

The court had heard he told his school counsellor that Adolf Hitler was “the greatest person to live”.

Holt’s lawyer Siobhain Climo argued on Monday her client‘s recent offending was on the lower end of the scale, because it was all “imagination” and no real children were involved.

The court heard Holt had Autism spectrum disorder “at the highest level”, with limited social intelligence or understanding.

She said he was a “target” in prison having been assaulted.

Judge Jennie Girdham SC said she would sentence Holt in September.
