An Instagram model facing multiple significant drug supply offences is now under investigation for possible bail breaches over her recent social media activity.
Victoria Acevedo, 27, was charged last August with participating in large commercial drug supply, three counts of participating in commercial drug supply, four charges of ongoing drug supply, dealing with property crime proceeds, and a related charge of attempting to possess a restricted substance.
The charges emerged from a sweeping NSW Police investigation into drug supply across Sydney’s suburbs, under which 10 people – including Acevedo’s then-boyfriend Sven Voljevica – were charged.
In recent days she was charged anew with commercial drug supply, and six counts of supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, and is yet to enter any pleas.
A NSW Police spokeswoman has now confirmed an investigation is on foot into Acevedo’s social media activity appearing to show her at music festivals and licensed venues while she was on bail.
Acevedo spent several months in custody before being granted strict conditional bail, which previously included electronic monitoring, abstinence from drugs and alcohol, and conditions akin to house arrest.
“NSW Police are aware of the images and have commenced investigations into a possible breach of bail,” the spokeswoman said.
The Campbelltown woman appeared briefly, armed with a Prada handbag, in Downing Centre Local Court sitting at the John Maddison Tower on Tuesday.
Her matters were adjourned to travel together until September 23 along with Voljevica for possible committal.
Documents previously tendered to the court reveal Acevedo is alleged to have participated in supplying MDMA, methamphetamine, and cocaine in various amounts across Sydney’s suburbs in 2024.
She and Voljevica were arrested alongside eight others under Strike Force Greatrex as part of the police probe into drug supply.
Voljevica’s matter was also briefly mentioned, with Magistrate Christopher Halburd remarking with surprise at the size of the court file.
“There are more than 100 sequences,” a police prosecutor responded.
Voljevica, who remains in custody bail refused, is charged with five counts of large commercial drug supply, six of commercial drug supply, small drug supply, two counts of knowingly dealing with crime proceeds and four counts of ongoing drug supply.
He is further charged with one count of failing to comply with a digital evidence access order, three counts of knowingly dealing with property crime proceeds, and two counts of dealing with crime proceeds and intending to conceal them.
Voljevica is yet to enter pleas to any of the charges.
Raids on multiple properties in Avalon Beach and Warriewood at the time unearthed approximately $90,000 worth of prohibited drugs, $25,000 worth of silver bullion and coins, and $22,500 cash.
Days later, a second sweep of warrants uncovered $192,000 worth of drugs, including 4kg of MDMA and 260g of cocaine, as well as $34,400 cash.
