Two teenagers have been charged after allegedly assaulting a man at a bus interchange in Mt Druitt.
Police were called to North Parade just after 12.30pm on Wednesday, where they found a 41-year-old man with injuries to his arm and head.
Paramedics treated him at the scene before taking him to Mt Druitt Hospital for further care.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested at the scene, while a 15-year-old boy was located near a shopping centre on Carlisle Avenue shortly after.
Both were taken to Mount Druitt Police Station, where they were charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and affray.
The teenagers were granted conditional bail and are due to appear in children’s court on February 17.
