Two men have been charged over an alleged murder plot targeting underworld figure Andre Kallita outside a Sydney police station on Christmas Day in 2023.

Brandon Maseuli, 28, and Marko Saric, 25, were arrested at a correctional facility in Silverwater shortly before 10am on Tuesday as part of Strike Force Barralier – an operation established in December 2023 by the State Crime Command’s Organised Crime Squad.

Police allege the men were involved in planning Kallita’s assassination, including the use of cloned registration plates to facilitate the hit.

Both have been charged with conspiracy to murder and were remanded in custody to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday.

Six other men have already been charged in connection to the alleged plot and remain before the courts.

Strike Force Barralier remains an active investigation.
