A teenager is in a critical condition after being stabbed multiple times at Woolloomooloo overnight.
Police said they were told the 17-year-old boy was stabbed by a group of three males during a physical altercation in Yurong Parkway, Woolloomooloo just before 11pm.
The three males then ran from the scene.
The injured teen was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a critical but stable condition.
Officers from Kings Cross and Sydney City Police Area Commands conducted an extensive search of the area however no one of interest was located.
An investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the incident and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
