Sydney bus driver charged after teen ‘allegedly drives’ bus with passengers aboard
A Sydney bus driver is facing charges after allegedly allowing a 16-year-old boy to take his passengers on a joy-ride.

A Sydney bus driver has been arrested and charged after allegedly allowing a 16-year-old boy to drive his bus during a scheduled route with passengers on board.
Police were told the 25-year-old man allowed the child to operate his vehicle on multiple occasions between 10th and 27th of March.
Following inquiries, police attended a home on Carter Road, Menai, on Wednesday afternoon where they arrested the man.
He was then taken to Sutherland Police Station where he was subsequently charged with three counts of negligently etc move/drive vehicle subject person to risk and employ etc unlicensed for Class, Class
The man was given conditional bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court on Thursday 28 April 2022.
