Sydney bikies: Mark Buddle mafia-style tax driving up cocaine prices

A $50,000 mafia-style tax imposed by exiled Comanchero bikie Mark Buddle is driving up the price of illicit drugs in Sydney.

Who’s who in the bikie underworld?

The price of cocaine and ice in Sydney is on the rise because of a mafia-style tax imposed on suppliers by bikie in exile, Mark Buddle.

Buddle, head of the Comanchero Outlaw Motor cycle gang is demanding up to $50,000 tax on each kilo that lands on Sydney shores.

“In the last few months coke has risen in price from $250 a gram to more than $300 depending on the quality,’’ a senior NSW cop said.

“It could be natural market forces but we suspect it could also have something to do with Buddle’s tax.’’

Buddle has declared himself head of “The Commission’’ which will enforce the tax. He has several high ranking Comanchero associates and a member of a high profile crime family in Sydney who are on the Commission and tasked with enforcing his new rules.

In January Buddle, now living in luxury in Dubai while he runs the Commancheros using encrypted devices, told members of the underworld who are involved in supplying drugs to the lucrative Sydney market about his plans.

“As you seen in 2020 the price of Fry (street talk for ice) reached 250 and in a matter of 1 month it dropped to 80k. This is because there is NO STRUCTURE, no rules, no reasoning and to be honest there’s NO SENSE,’’ his message read.

“Every time a stamp lands in Sydney, you reach out to the commission and tell them what stamp it is, pay a small fee to the commission,’’ he said.

Senior NSW Police have told The Telegraph they have intelligence that leads them to believe there has already been assaults and kidnappings carried out over the tax by The Commission. The tax can range anywhere from $5000 up to $50,000 depending on the importer and his association with the Commancheros.

“There is no doubt this will escalate to murder. It's the bikie way to use violence in all there criminal enterprises,’’ he said.

“And there is going to be real problems from this. There are obvious groups who will not want to pay which will lead to conflict which invariably leads to bloodshed in this world.”

Buddles is now considered a major international drug lord, sent the message by encrypted communications to all major crime figures living in and out of Australia.

“To ALL Main Players in Aus and Abroad all who land work in Sydney/NSW. As of 2021, there will be a Sydney commission that will be formed,’’ the message read.

Buddle said he promised that profits would increase under his regime after prices plummeted during covid. He also made a veiled threat against anyone not paying the tax.

“The COMMISSION will make sure this DOES Not happen,” he wrote.
