Strike Force Currikee investigating sexual assault of woman in Singleton house
The woman was sexually assaulted after losing consciousness during the attack which saw the victim threatened with a knife and physically assaulted.

Police are hunting two masked attackers who sexually assaulted a woman after rendering her unconscious inside her Singleton home.
Strike Force Currikee has been established to investigate the horrific attack after the woman was targeted shortly after midnight on Thursday,
Police said the woman, aged in her 30s, was confronted by two men inside the home before they threatened her with a knife and physically assaulted her.
The woman lost consciousness before being sexual assaulted.
She regained consciousness and rang triple-0 after the men fled, with Hunter Valley police establishing a crime scene and beginning the investigation.
The woman was taken to John Hunter Hospital for treatment.
Strike Force Currikee, established by detectives from the state’s child abuse and sex crime squad and Hunter Valley police district, continues to investigate the attack.
Police have pleaded for the public for information on the two men and whether any residents witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during that evening or in the days prior.
The men were both wearing dark clothing and had their faces concealed.
However, one man has been described as being of large build and the other was of thin build.
