Police investigate after man and two women assaulted by group in late-night Revesby attack

A man and two women have been taken to hospital after they were assaulted by a group of unknown people on a residential street in Revesby.

Police have launched an investigation after three people were assaulted by a group of unknown individuals in Revesby on Sunday night.

Officers were called to Queen St shortly before 9.30pm, following reports of an attack on nearby Iluka St.

Police were told an 18-year-old man and two women, aged 47 and 52, were set upon by a group, suffering minor injuries during the incident.

Paramedics treated the trio at the scene before they were taken to Bankstown Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Police cordoned off Iluka St with tape as several patrol cars lined the road.

Officers were seen scouring the area with torches, combing the footpath and front yards for evidence.

A crime scene was established at Ilkua and Queen streets as an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident commenced.
