Paedophile cult leader William Costellia, known to his followers as “The Little Pebble”, has walked from a cell the day he pleaded guilty to breaching a “high risk sex offender” order.

The Daily Telegraph can reveal the ageing doomsday prophet did a deal with prosecutors to have the worst accusations dropped including how he allegedly spoke of teenage girls and young women becoming his “12 queens” at the end of the world.

An ageing Costellia appeared in Sydney Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday after spending more than a year behind bars on remand.

Police alleged he had accessed social media through his wife’s account – a clear contravention of a strict extended supervision order (ESO) that was designed to help authorities track his movements online and in the real world.

The 72-year-old pleaded guilty to one charge of breaching the ESO in exchange for two more counts being dropped.

Magistrate Miranda Moody noted Costellia had spent 53 weeks in prison since his arrest in November 2021.

He will be released immediately, the magistrate ordered.

Costellia ran a breakaway Catholic cult known as the Order of Saint Charbel on the NSW South Coast until 2005 when he was convicted of the aggravated sexual assault of two children in the 1990s.

The man who believed he was “the last Pope”, destined to repopulate a royal dynasty with 12 queens and 72 princesses, ended up serving almost a decade behind bars.

The Supreme Court was concerned about his “predation” on underage vulnerable females and placed him on the ESO in 2016 as he walked from prison.

Since his release, Costellia has continued to claim the Virgin Mary appears daily at the Cambewarra property, outside Nowra, where he gathered his followers in the 1990s.

His doomsday predictions have continued online, though he has been forced off social media because of the ESO.

The fact sheet, tendered at his sentencing, showed only that Costellia used his wife’s Facebook account to message a young woman about prawn chips smoking out the house in May 2020.

He also admitted to calling the girl “darling” in another message about how depressed he was about his crimes.

Costellia’s wife is not accused of any wrongdoing and arrived at court on Tuesday to meet her released husband.

But Costellia had gone for bail before the NSW Supreme Court earlier this year and a much longer fact sheet, tendered during that application, reveals numerous more allegations made by police.

They had been dropped from the final case against the pervert seer after his lawyer, Omar Juweinat, negotiated in exchange for the guilty plea.

Police, in the January fact sheet, originally alleged Costellia had messaged the young woman through his wife’s account when she was just 16-years-old.

The fact sheet originally alleged the young woman was brought from another country to live with Costellia’s wife at the cult property near Nowra.

The document further alleged he young woman was seen at Costellia’s apartment in Sydney when she was 18 “clutching a child’s doll to her chest”.

Perhaps the most shocking allegation, from the January fact sheet, includes a handwritten letter to the young woman that police claim lists 11 “daughters” who were set to become Costellia’s “queens”.

“I have chosen you as one of the 12 wives of Little Abraham who will soon be Peter II of the Holy Mother Church,” the letter, seen by The Daily Telegraph, reads.

“You are very special and will soon receive your first child to prepare you for your role as mother and Queen.”

The allegations about Costellia’s relationship with the girl had all been struck from the final case and it’s understood Costellia planned on arguing prosecutors would need to prove the handwriting was Costellia’s.

Also struck from this week’s sentencing were allegations about a second young woman.

Police, in the January fact sheet, alleged Costellia’s wife passed messages between her cult leader husband and a second young woman throughout 2020.

The woman, who police believed was also from overseas, appears to call Costellia’s wife “mummy”.

“There is evidence to suggest (the woman) was chosen to be one of the ‘12 Queens’,” the fact sheet reads.

The young woman was volunteered as a “wife” for Costellia when she was just 16-years-old by her own mother, the fact sheet alleges.

Those allegations, too, were dropped ahead of Costellia’s guilty plea and were never proven in court.

Costellia’s ESO was paused while he spent a year in prison meaning it will now resume and remain in place until 2025.

Last month Costellia’s website uploaded a prayer for its imprisoned oracle, denying the charges.

“Jesus and Mary come to him often, but he suffers because of so much evil in the Justice System,” the prayer reads.

The cult warned Sydney would pay the price for imprisoning Costellia.

“The city will collapse and the Harbour Bridge will collapse with the Opera House and many people shall perish and the authorities will come to believe and understand what they have done to you.”
