A man, believed to have been in his 50s, has died after being hit by a truck in a workplace incident in Sydney’s west.

A man has died after being hit by a truck in Sydney’s west on Thursday night.
Police were called to the scene in Greenacre about 7.30pm following reports of a workplace accident.
Officers from the Auburn Police Area Command attended the scene on Bellfrog St, where the man died.
He is yet to be formally identified but is believed to have been aged in his 50s.
The truck driver, also believed to be in his 50s, was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Police have established a crime scene as part of an ongoing investigation.
“A report will be prepared for the coroner and the incident has been referred to SafeWork NSW,” a NSW Police spokeswoman said.
