Man’s body found in Coogee, police establish crime scene

A crime scene has been established after a man’s body was found by a member of the public in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs this morning.
Emergency services were called to Coogee Bay Rd, Coogee at 7.45am after reports of a body being located in a block of flats near St Brigid’s Catholic School.
NSW Police officers and NSW Ambulance paramedics attended the scene, with multiple police vehicles and one ambulance photographed outside the apartment block.
Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command established a crime scene and cordoned off the unit block as they commenced their investigation.
The man is yet to be formally identified.
