In NSW’s latest bail controversy, a judge has released a Sydney man accused by police of sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriend, her daughter and her mother in separate incidents, The Daily Telegraph can reveal.

The Campbelltown man cannot be named so that his three alleged victims are not identified.

NSW prosecutors stressed to the Supreme Court they were worried he could continue to commit serious offences and also interfere with his alleged victims given the complaints made are from “mother, daughter and grandmother”.

His release on bail has been blasted as inadequate by a victims of crime advocate considering the seriousness of the allegations.

The man was arrested when the 10-year-old daughter spoke up recently about him allegedly forcing himself upon her when she was staying with him, according to a police fact sheet tendered to court.

Police allege the ex-girlfriend, who broke up with the man in 2021 after a seven-year relationship, had planned to send her daughter to spend a night with him in September this year.

The man, who police allege sexually assaulted his ex-girlfriend, her daughter and her mother, will face court later this month after being released on bail.

But, when told this, the daughter became visibly uncomfortable and alleged she had been sexually abused by him last year, writing in a text: “Mum, I have a reason I don’t want to go”.

The child’s revelation prompted her mother and her grandmother to come forward and make statements to police alleging they had also been sexually assaulted by him.

He was charged with multiple offences, including sexual intercourse without consent.

The man, legally represented by high-profile solicitor Ahmed Dib, faced the NSW Supreme Court and was granted bail by a judge after the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions opposed his release.

Mr Dib argued the man’s current partner relied on him for financial support and that he would likely not receive a trial date for at least two years.

Mr Dib also argued the man had emails from his ex-girlfriend containing “erotica”, including “incestuous fantasies”.

And $800,000 was offered as security as part of his bail conditions.

Victims advocate Howard Brown said the man should not have been granted bail due to the nature of his alleged crimes, which he said had “psychopathic tendencies”.

“Look at the nature of the severity of the (alleged) offences, which is something the court must take into account when granting bail,” Mr Brown said.

“The (alleged) offences are at the high end of the scale and so, therefore, it is not one you can generally mitigate by granting conditional release.”

In an interview with police, the 10-year-old daughter alleged the man had just finished showering when he lay on a bed with her and sexually assaulted her when she was staying with him at his home in 2022, the fact sheet alleges.

The man then allegedly said: “Don’t tell mum, this will be just our little secret”.

She had been told by her family he was her biological father when growing up.

After she came forward in September, the man’s ex-partner alleged to police he had “incestuous fantasies” and had forced her to have sex under the threat of physical violence before they split.

This abuse included the ex-girlfriend waking up to find she was being sexually assaulted by him, the fact sheet alleges.

The ex-girlfriend’s mother alleged she was sexually assaulted by the man after he had done some mechanical work on her car for her in 2016.

Police allege after doing the work he texted her and wrote: “You owe me for fixing your car. I did it all for nothing. All I want is a bit of stroking and kissing. I’ve always had the hots for you, I think you are sexy.”

Later that night she woke to find him allegedly sexually assaulting her, the fact sheet states.

He will face court later this month.
