A man is in critical condition after falling from a pedestrian overpass in Sydney’s CBD on Saturday night.
Police said the man, believed in his 20s or 30s, fell from the Harbour St overpath near Bathurst St onto the road below about 9.30pm and suffered serious injuries.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics on the street before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital, where he underwent surgery.
Police have information that several people may have been on the overpass around the time the man fell and are appealing for those people to come forward to clarify what happened.
They are also asking any other witnesses to the fall to come forward.
A crime scenes were established in Harbour St on the overpass and an investigation is underway.
