Detectives have charged a man over the alleged sexual assault of a young woman at a Port Stephens house party.
Police allege the teenage woman was assaulted inside a home during the party on Saturday night.
She allegedly immediately told other partygoers before the man left the home.
A man, 29, was arrested at Hornsby police station on Sunday and was later charged by Port Stephens-Hunter detectives with five counts of sexual touching and one count of sexual assault.
He was granted strict conditional bail to appear in court on April 11.
