A man has been charged for failing to stop and help a 12-year-old girl seriously injured in an alleged hit and run on the Central Coast.

A man has been charged after he allegedly hit a 12-year-old pedestrian, then fleeing the scene on the Central Coast last month.
On February 7, emergency services were called to Railway Crescent at Lisarow, following reports a child had been struck by a car.
Paramedics treated the 12-year-old girl at the scene for arm and leg injuries, before she was taken to John Hunter Hospital.
Investigators identified a silver Volkswagen Golf which was around the scene at the time, with the driver of the vehicle deemed a person of interest.
Following an investigation, a 43-year-old man was issued a court attendance notice for failing to stop and assist after impact causing injury.
He is set to face Gosford Local Court on Tuesday 29 April 2025.
