Glen Innes: Police investigating death of 11-month-old baby in regional NSW home

A baby boy has been found dead inside a home in the state’s New England region, with police treating the incident as suspicious.

A baby boy has been found dead inside a home in the state’s New England region, with police treating the incident as suspicious.

Emergency services were called to a residence on Hunter St in Glen Innes on Sunday morning where an 11-month-old baby was unresponsive.

The baby was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

“An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the child’s death is now being conducted by detectives attached to New England Police District,” a NSW Police spokesman said.
