Police say a driver attempted to mow down two people with his car during a wild brawl that spilt into the car park of a Western Sydney pub in shocking scenes that were captured on CCTV.

The video captured the second part of the fight that broke out at the entry of Blacktown Tavern just after 1.24am on February 17 and resulted in police charging eight people aged 16 to 46.

Seven of the brawlers - some of whom were swinging chairs and another who was stabbed -- can be seen in the vision charging out of the pub and into the car park.

Outside, a man wearing orange hi vis appears to accelerate a Hyundai SUV harshly and attempts to run over a man in grey track pants and another wearing black shorts.

The car narrowly misses and almost collides with a rock planter pot.

The vision is the second video instalment of the brawl that emerged in the court case of one of the participants, Amanaki Uasi.

A 33-year-old carpenter, Usasi was stabbed and avoided jail after being sentenced to a 12-month conditional release order in Blacktown Local Court last month.

Uasi’ lawyer, Paul McGirr, told the court his client had been acting in self defence.

“My client wasn’t there to cause trouble and was enjoying a drink with friends,” Mr McGirr said.

Police don’t know what started the brawl and Uasi told investigators it was sparked by a group of “youngens” looking for a fight.

Footage of the fight was tendered to court and captured disturbing scenes that unfolded in front of shocked patrons.

A male, wearing white Crocs, was filmed appearing to whip a man with a man bag.

An older man, wearing slides and reading glasses, retreated from the fight with a head wound and one of his slides missing.

The man in grey track pants slipped on his own blood and was hit in the face by the base of a table.

Despite likely being concussed, the man in grey track pants can be seen in the second video pursuing the man in reading glasses into the driver’s seat of a second SUV parked outside the pub.

Meanwhile, Usasi, who had been punching another man through the rear passenger window, pulls the man in reading glasses out of the car and begins punching him.

This is broken up when a man in black smashes Uasi in the back with a chair.

By this stage, seven men were squaring off when the man in orange hi vis attempts to run over the two men.

Another man throws a chair at the car’s windscreen.

Following the near miss, two of the men attempt to rip off the rear passenger side door off the parked car.

To stop this, a man in black produces a knife.

The brawl then goes off camera before the men flee in the two SUVs.

The man in orange hi vis then appears in the shot holding a blade, which he uses to point at someone. Seconds later a second man does the same thing with a blade.

Usasi then appears in the shot with blood covering his right side before police arrive.

Three were also charged with malicious damage, while a 17-year-old was charged with malicious damage and carrying a knife.

A 16-year-old was also charged with malicious damage.

The spokeswoman said seven have been sentenced or dealt with by The Childrens Court and Blacktown Local Court.

A 31-year-old is due to face the court on September 27.
