A woman aged 80 is in a critical condition and two others have been seriously hurt after a savage hospital attack in Sydney’s southwest overnight.

A woman is in a critical condition and two others have been seriously hurt after a savage hospital attack in Sydney’s southwest early Friday.
Officers were called to Bankstown Hospital shortly before 3am following reports a patient had been assaulted.
Police said a man, who was a patient at the hospital, attacked two women before confronting and punching an 80-year-old.
He is accused of choking her before she hit her head against the wall and lost consciousness.
That woman is now fighting for life.
The man was arrested and once medically cleared, was taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with cause grievous bodily harm to person with intent, choke person intend to commit indictable offence, intentionally choke person with recklessness and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Friday.
