A beauty therapist who went missing from her NSW Central Coast home almost a week ago has been found in Western Australia.
Isobel Byrne, 22, was spotted on Monday afternoon, six days after she left her home on Baronga Rd, Avoca Beach, last Tuesday, June 15.
NSW Police had tracked Ms Byrne’s blue Holden Barina to Western Australia and not long after putting out a release on Monday she was seen on the west coast.
Ms Byrne and her pet Maltese terrier had driven through Queensland and the Northern Territory to get into WA, police believe.
Ms Byrne worked at the Face On Beauty and Makeup Studio at Erina on the Central Coast, with a post on the business’s Facebook page saying they hope she is “taking some time on her own to regroup”.
“Firstly, thank you for all your heartfelt messages that have been bombarding our social media pages regarding Isobel,” the post read.
“We too are hoping that she is just taking some time on her own to regroup.
“As you can imagine all the staff & myself are distraught.”
