Alleged Comanchero bikie associates Anthony Leao-seve and Sila Mafi charged over brothel ‘threats’ for cut price sex

A visit to a Campbelltown brothel failed to deliver the desired results for two alleged bikie associates, who ended up being charged for allegedly threatening workers who refused to give them cut-price sex.

A pre-dawn visit to a Macarthur brothel failed to deliver a happy ending for an alleged Comanchero bikie and his associate, after the pair later found themselves in police custody over accusations they threatened workers who refused to give them cut-price sex.

Anthony John Leao-seve, 35, and Sila Ki Vai Mafi, 39, are each facing a charge of intimidation, while Mafi is facing additional charges of assault and damaging property, following what police claim was a series of stiff negotiations gone very wrong.

According to police, Leao-seve, an alleged member of the Comanchero outlaw motorcycle gang, and Mafi, an alleged Comanchero associate, arrived at the unnamed Campbelltown brothel about 5am on July 6 and attempted to negotiate with the workers for “cheaper prices” for sexual services.

When the negotiations fell flat, Leao-seve and Mafi allegedly threatened multiple women inside the premises, with Mafi accused of further assaulting one woman and damaging a kitchen door.

Workers contacted police, however Leao-seve and Mafi had left by the time officers arrived on scene.

Officers attached to State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad were subsequently contacted and immediately launched an investigation into the incident.

According to police, an unknown man contacted the brothel the day after the incident and offered protection for money.

Following extensive inquiries, Raptor Squad officers arrested Leao-seve at his Minto home just before 6am on September 23.

He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station and charged before being released on conditional bail.

Mafi was arrested at his Casula home less than three hours later.

He was taken to Liverpool Police Station, charged, and remanded in custody without bail.

Neither man is accused of ringing the brothel the following day and have not been charged as such.

The cases against Leao-seve and Mafi were briefly mentioned in Campbelltown Local Court on Thursday, where their respective lawyers entered not guilty pleas on their behalf.

Leao-seve, who was accompanied by an unknown female, refused to answer any questions about the incident when approached by The Daily Telegraph outside court.

Mafi, who remains in custody without bail, chose not to appear on screen during the brief mention.

Both cases will return to court in December for further mention.

Police have said they are continuing to investigate the incident.
