Ian Clissold charged with child sex abuse

The former Comanchero sergeant-at-arms has been charged with sexually abusing a child and supplying her drugs, as well as assaulting a woman and threatening her with a pistol.

A former high ranking bikie boss has been accused of sexually abusing a child and supplying drugs to her over several years, as well as physically abusing another woman.

Detectives have charged former Comanchero master sergeant at arms Ian Clissold with several serious offences related to historical domestic violence and child sexual abuse allegations.

Clissold, 60, was first charged on February 1 with three counts of sexual intercourse without consent, intentional choking and assault causing actual bodily harm over allegations he assaulted a woman – now in her 20s – at an Oakville address between 2017 and 2021.

In a statement, NSW Police said two other women – now a teen and another in her 30s – then came forward and made further abuse allegations against Clissold.

Police will allege Clissold sexually abused the teenaged woman when she was aged between nine and 13, and supplied her with prohibited drugs when she was aged between 11 and 13.

He was charged with grooming a child for unlawful sexual activity, three counts of aggravated indecency, two counts of supplying drugs to a child, and supplying a prohibited drug.

Police will further allege Clissold assaulted the woman, now in her 30s, on multiple occasions and threatened her with a firearm.

He was also charged with four counts of common assault, possessing an unauthorised pistol, two counts of intimidation, and assault causing actual bodily harm.

Clissold was remanded in custody and his matter was mentioned briefly at Penrith Local Court, where Magistrate Stephen Corry adjourned the cases to May 12 for consideration by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
