Charges against a Sydney Rebel bikie accused of assaulting an ex-partner who he claimed in court lied about her age have been dismissed.

Aleksander Mahone, 31, was charged with two counts of assault causing actual bodily harm, intentional choking and contravening an apprehended violence order over a five-year period from 2018 to 2023.

Earlier this year his lawyer, Abdul Saddik told the court his client had discovered he had been misled by the woman over her real age.

“He was married to a woman he believed was years younger than him,” Mr Saddik told the court.

“These complaints seem to arrive after the discovery of the complainant’s real age, and status in that she has grandchildren.”

The charges were dismissed in Bankstown Court last Friday after the woman did not appear and the prosecution withdrew the charges.
