Langford was taken to Granville Police Station, where he was charged with multiple offences, including police pursuit (second or more offence), possess a prohibited drug, and use offensive weapon to prevent lawful detention.

He was also charged with an outstanding warrant for five offences, including firing a firearm in or near a public place, possessing a loaded firearm in a public place, possessing ammunition without a licence, acquiring a pistol while subject to a firearms prohibition order, and police pursuit – not stop – drive dangerously.

Langford has also been charged with breaching bail in relation to the removal of the monitoring device.

Langford’s matter appeared in Parramatta Local Court, where his lawyer Elie Srour told Magistrate Derek Price on Wednesday he would not be applying for his client’s bail.

Instead, he asked Mr Price for the matter to be stood over for three weeks when it would possibly be handed over from the police to the DPP.

Mr Price ultimately adjourned the matter to March 27 with Langford to remain behind bars on remand.
