A man has been charged after allegedly choking a woman in a domestic violence incident in Sydney’s southwest.

A man will face court after allegedly choking a woman in a domestic violence incident in Sydney’s southwest.
Police were called to a home in Spring Farm shortly before 8.45pm last Thursday following reports of an assault.
Officers arrived to find a 41-year-old woman with injuries to her throat; she was taken to hospital for treatment.
A short time later, police arrested a 32-year-old man at a home in Eschol Park.
He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with two counts of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm, two counts of intentionally choke a person with recklessness, and intentionally choke person without consent.
The man was refused bail by police and appeared before Campbelltown Local Court on Friday, where he was formally refused bail to reappear before the same court on Tuesday.
Police will allege in court the man choked the woman on two separate occasions.
