A number of bikie associates have been issued with banning notices from a Sydney hospital where shot Comanchero boss Tarek Zahed is under police guard after one of them allegedly threatened a security guard while trying to get in to see him.
Two gunman shot Zahed and his brother Omar, hitting Tarek ten times and killing Omar at the scene during a bloody ambush on Tuesday night.
The night after Zahed was shot, a 34-year-old man was stopped by the guard at the entry point of the hospital whom he allegedly threatened only to leave and return the following day.
“About 10pm on Wednesday, a security officer was leaving a secured entry/exit point of the hospital, when he stopped an unknown man as he attempted to enter the building,” police said in a statement today.
“After the man was refused entry, it’s alleged he made a number of threats toward the security officer, who walked away.
“The incident was reported to police and inquiries were commenced,” police said.
About 5.30pm yesterday officers from Parramatta Police Area Command and the Raptor Squad responded to reports the man had returned to the hospital.
The 34-year-old man, Abraham Fahma, a Comanchero OMCG associate – was arrested and taken to Merrylands Police Station, where he was charged with stalk-intimidate intend fear physical harm.
He was granted strict conditional bail and is due to appear at Parramatta Local Court on June 2.
