A feared bikie boss allegedly kidnapped a Sydney businessman at gunpoint over an outstanding debt and bashed him, leaving the man in hospital with head injuries.
Lone Wolf senior member Hassan Kalache, 46, was allegedly behind a brutal assault which played out in Regents Park on Thursday night.
Kalache, who underworld sources confirmed is the current leader of the Lone Wolf, allegedly confronted a 42-year-old man on Amy St around 9pm, and pulled out a handgun.
“Police will allege the man was threatened with a handgun before being struck around the head with the weapon...The man was taken to Auburn Hospital for treatment for head injuries,” NSW Police said in a statement.
Detectives investigating the alleged assault on the businessman spotted Kalache in a car at Sefton on Friday morning, and arrested him.
A subsequent search of is vehicle allegedly uncovered a quantity of illegal prescription drugs.
Kalache was taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with four offences including take person in company with intent commit serious indictable crime and demand property by force with intent to steal.
He was also charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and drug possession.
Kalache faced Parramatta Local Court on Sunday where he did not apply for bail, but his solicitor said he would be making a release application when the matter was heard again on Thursday.
Police will allege Kalache is heavily involved in the outlaw motorcycle gang’s Sydney chapter.
