Exiled Sydney bikie boss Mark Buddle has been caught on camera threatening a group of young British men during a scuffle at a private beach bar in Dubai after one of them allegedly slapped his wife on the backside.

The couple were at the exclusive Drift beach restaurant in Dubai last week when an altercation between Buddle and up to four men erupted and was filmed.

In the video, an agitated and shirtless Buddle is seen to spit at the group, point at them and then mouth the words “You’re dead’’ as they retreated with concerned staff trying to intervene in the argument.

Buddle’s wife Mel Ter Wisscha is seen saying something to the men as she stands next to her husband before things get ugly. She then walks through the group of men, who presumably have no idea who they are messing with. One of the men throws something at Buddle, a move that spurs the tattooed bikie into further anger.

A witness commented on Instagram, where the video was posted, that the young Brits had instigated the fracas.

“Kids got brave and slapped the ladies arse, so they got a slap from the lady and the group of kids charged over.’’

And another replied: “Kids got in over their heads’’.

ASKING FOR TROUBLE

It seems that is something of an understatement according to those who know Buddle.

It is the first time any public images of the Comanchero bikie head have been seen since he left Australia more than 10 years ago.

A number of underworld sources said if any of the group had even looked the wrong way at Buddle’s wife they were asking for trouble, but were lucky when staff intervened and blocked them from each other.

“They are lucky, he could have cleaned them up by himself,’’ a former Sydney acquaintance of Buddle said.

The bikie boss is known to be incredibly protective of his wife and their young daughter. The family live in the lap of luxury in the Palms resort in Dubai and get around the emirate in a Bentley.

Buddle, reputedly worth about $100m, is known to run his Sydney club using encrypted Cipher mobile phones and has an army of loyal lieutenants in the Harbour City and around the country willing to carry out his orders.

It is well known that Australian authorities, and particularly the NSW Police, want the 42-year-old to return to Sydney to question him over a number of shootings, including the murder of Sydney security guard Gary Allibon during a payroll robbery of an armoured van in 2009.

But there are no warrants outstanding for him and no criminal charges pending against him in Australia.

STILL IN SPOTLIGHT

Buddle has kept himself in the spotlight among Sydney‘s underworld with a proposal to set up a Mafia-style commission to control the drug trade in Sydney. In a text sent to a number of people by encrypted message in January, Buddle directed that a fee, or tax, would be paid by anyone wanting to bring drugs into Australia through Sydney.

Buddle’s attempts at establishing the commission has concerned police who fear it will lead to tension between the Comanchero and other criminal groups involved in the importation of drugs.

“It’s a recipe for bloodshed,’’ one senior NSW police officer said.

Buddle left Australia in 2010 and is known to frequently travel from his base in Dubai to Greece and Turkey.

Drift is a resort style venue in Dubai where private cabanas can be hired out for an exorbitant fee.

“Decked in natural driftwood, topaz blues and clean white, Drift asserts effortless style. Our expansive private beach stretches as far as the eye can see, while the oversized infinity pool is perfect for a stylish swim,’’ it boasts on its website.
