Sixth teen charged after 15-year-old boy stabbed outside La Salle College in Bankstown
Police have charged a sixth teen after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed following his alleged refusal to give cash to a group of boys outside a Bankstown college.

A sixth teenager has been charged following a stabbing in Sydney’s southwest on Wednesday.
About 3.15pm, emergency services were called to Chapel Rd in Bankstown following reports of a stabbing and found three 15-year-old boys with injuries.
One boy was found with stab wounds, another was treated for a laceration to the thigh and another was treated for swelling and bruising to the face.
Teachers raced from the classrooms to help the 15-year-old suffering stab wounds before paramedics arrived.
The young man was treated at the scene before being transported to Westmead Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
On Wednesday, five teenagers were charged over the incident and faced court later that day where they were granted bail.
Following further inquiries, detectives arrested a sixth 15-year-old boy at a home in Bankstown about 2:45pm on Thursday.
The teen was taken to Bankstown police station and charged with affray. He was granted conditional bail to appear before a Children’s Court on Thursday, August 25.
Police said the two groups clashed in a dispute over a girl.
“Bad decision making has resulted in very serious injuries ... three males went to hospital,” Bankstown police commnader Superintendent Adam Johnson said.

“It’s a silly situation, anyone who thinks it’s ok to carry a knife or weapon you’re only ever doing it for bad reasons.
These are situations that change peoples’ lives.”
The injured teens were from the college and were approached by the group of teenagers who weren’t members of the same school and were demanding cash be handed over to them.
A number of people fled the scene, including the attackers, prior to the arrival of police.
Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.
On Wednesday, two young males – aged 15 and 16 – were arrested at a home in Greenacre about 5.30pm.
A further two males – both aged 16 – were arrested at homes in Yagoona about 7.20pm.
A fifth male – aged 15 – was arrested at Bankstown about 8.30pm.
All five teens were taken to Bankstown Police Station where they were charged with reckless wounding in company and affray.
They were refused bail and appeared in a Children’s Court on Thursday.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward as inquiries continue.
