Neil Prakash (Victoria)

Notorious Islamic State recruiter. Released from jail in Turkey in early 2022 and placed in immigration detention. Remains in legal limbo after the Australian government revoked his citizenship.

Khaled Sharrouf (NSW)

Posted a photo of his young son holding the severed head of a Syrian soldier. Believed to have been killed in an air strike in 2017.

Abdullah Elmir (NSW)

Known as the “ginger jihadi”. Appeared in an Islamic State propaganda video threatening Australia. Reportedly killed in 2015.

Tareq Kamleh (WA/SA)

Worked as a doctor for Islamic State. Unverified reports suggested he died in 2018.
