Bassam Hamzy threatens relative: ‘I’m gunna break your f**kin’ legs’

Bassam Hamzy had been on the run for more than six weeks when he called home. In a call to his mother Lola, he wanted to know if she had sent him his favourite underwear and socks. He also threatened to bash a relative if they stopped kickboxing.

Bassam Hamzy, the Brothers for Life gang leader's life of crime inside Goulburn supermax prison.

Bassam Hamzy had been on the run for more than six weeks when he called home. If his shooting dead of teen Kris Toumazis in May was on his mind, he said very little to show it. Instead, he was more concerned about his mother sending him his favourite underwear and socks to Lebanon and whether his young relatives were continuing their kickboxing training, and losing weight.
