A NEW tour takes fans to visit locations from the series in Ireland and Croatia.

GAME of Thrones fans can visit popular film locations from the series in Ireland and Croatia with a new travel package inspired by the hit show.

The trip begins in Dubrovnik, Croatia where guests will visit locations from the fictional King's Landing in the old city, Lovrijenac Fortress - the 11th century castle where many of the show's battle scenes take place - and Trsteno Arboretum. They can also visit Lokrum Island to wander the streets of "Qarth".

The tour continues to Northern Ireland and includes stops at the caves in Cushendun, where the show's Melisandre gave birth to a "shadow baby" in Ballycastle and Dark Hedges Road - a key location in Ayra Stark's escape from King's Landing.

The 14-night package is priced from $5673 a person, twin share, with flights.
