ACCLAIMED Australian travel photographer Richard I'Anson will share his secrets during a photographic retreat in the Northern Territory's remote Mary River Floodplains.

I'Anson, the author of the best-selling Lonely Planet's Guide to Travel Photography and the founder of Lonely Planet Images, will provide guests with hands-on tuition and share his creative experiences set against the unique and inspiring wilderness, wildlife and landscapes of the Top End.

Open to a maximum of 10 aspiring travel photographers, the Top End Wilderness Photo Safari itinerary runs from April 5-9.

A highlight for keen photographers is a full day private group trip to Arnhem Land.

The Top End Wilderness Photo safari with Richard I'Anson costs $4799 a person, twin share, including four nights at Wild Bush Luxury's Bamurru Plains bush camp, all meals and select drinks.

A full day, private group day-trip to Arnhem Land by air and return flights from Darwin to Bamurru are also included.

It includes morning and afternoon photography sessions with I'Anson, plus private, guided trips among the floodplains and savanna woodlands of Bamurru Plains.
