Video reveals how easy it is to spike drinks with drugs

A SOCIAL experiment has sent a strong warning to look after your drinks after a one man reveals just how easy it is to spike them.

A YOUTUBE star known for his radical social experiments has posted a video that reveals just how easy it is to spike someone’s drink — often while their friends are right next to them.

Joey Salads has previously made a video about child abductions in playgrounds, and how frighteningly easy it is, and in his latest one he drops a pill into women’s drinks without them realising it.

In the video Salads said he wanted “to figure out how easy it is to drug a girl.”

It didn’t take him long. In the video, that has been viewed more than three million times, he can be seen striking up a conversation with a couple before slipping a pill into the female’s drink.

When she returns he tells her not to drink it and informs them it was an experiment.

In another scene, a woman turns her head for a few seconds and he drops a pill into her drink.

In all cases the women and their friends were horrified that he has been able to do it, literally under their noses.

Salads said he made the video — with fake drugs — to educate people and in the video’s description he writes one share could save a life.

But it has drawn some criticism, for taking the responsibility away from the people who commit the crimes, and instead placing it on the victims.
