LeBron James stuns Lakers teammates with ’incredible’ 3-pointer
LeBron James decided to show off a bit during his clash with the Philadelphia 76ers, leaving his dumbfounded teammates in shock.

Three-time NBA champion LeBron James left his Los Angeles Lakers teammates in shock after pulling off a miraculous 12-metre attempt on Wednesday.
After dominating the second quarter against the Philadelphia 76ers at the Staples Centre, James returned from the halftime interval and bucketed a mammoth 3-pointer from the Lakers logo.
There was seemingly no need to attempt the unlikely shot — only two minutes into the third quarter, James was under no time pressure, and the Lakers were comfortably ahead.

Three of his mystified comrades began inspecting the court, determining where exactly the 16-time NBA All-Star shot from.
ESPN presenter Allen Sliwa called it “ridiculous”, while Fox Sports reporter Jill Painter Lopez simply labelled it “incredible”.

James scored 22 points during the Lakers’ 120-107 victory, managing 14 assist and seven rebounds. Point forward Anthony Davis top scored for the match with 37 points.
Davis scored 18 of his points during a phenomenal second-quarter surge, hitting four 3-pointers while going 13 of 19 from the field and grabbing 13 rebounds.
The Lakers needed every bit of their All-Stars’ brilliance to hold off a solid effort by the undermanned Sixers, who played without injured starters Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Josh Richardson.
When asked why he attempted the ludicrous 3-pointer, James responded: “I’ve taken a growth mindset and have had to adjust my game every year. I work on that shot and only shoot shots I work on. It sets the tone for the guys.”
James also spoke about his chemistry with Davis after the match.
“We challenge each other between the two of us, and when we do that we hold each other accountable and it trickles down to everyone else,” James said.
Glenn Robinson III matched his career high with 25 points and Tobias Harris had 18 for the Sixers, who have lost nine consecutive road games since January 20th.
Dwight Howard had 11 points without missing a shot at the line or in the field for the Lakers, who move to 47-13 with their ninth win in 10 games.
The Lakers will next take on the Milwaukee Bucks in a home fixture on Saturday.
