TOUR Down Under road closures are causing delays for commuters.
Today's second stage of the TDU starts on Prospect Rd, which is closed to traffic.
The Australian Traffic Network's Nick Green says the closure is forcing additional traffic on to Main North and Churchill roads, and Fitzroy Tce.
Motorists are advised Prospect Rd will not reopen until this afternoon and they should also be mindful of the peloton and crowds as cyclists make their way towards Stirling from Prospect from 11am.
The east-west connector road through Victoria Square also remains closed for the TDU, causing some delays in the CBD.
Elsewhere, a burst water main is causing delays on Anzac Highway at Keswick. A westbound lane is blocked while crews repair the main near the intersection of Greenhill Rd.
