DELAYED by the Comonwealth Games, season two of Suncorp Super Netball is set to be a blinder with the same eight teams competing but multiple new faces, line-ups and venues.
The competition, which feeds talent directly into some of the top teams in the world — including Australia, England, Jamaica, South Africa and Malawi — is set to shore up its presence as one of the leading sporting competitions in the country in 2018.

We take a look at the top talent, the matches that matter and what you can expect in season two of the competition in the SWOOP guide to Super Netball 2018.
SEASON 2018 FAST FACTS
It is an Australian-based elite competition which allows for unlimited imports.
The 2018 competition starts on April 28 and will involve 14 rounds of preliminary marchesa prior to a three week finals series.
The Grand Final will be held on the weekend of 25 August.

TOUGH LOVE: How the Swifts have been transformed
The established clubs which entered the 2017 competition and will be back in 2018 are the NSW Swifts, Queensland Firebirds, Melbourne Vixens, West Coast Fever and Adelaide Thunderbirds.
The clubs which debuted last year and return in 2018 are the Collingwood Magpies, the Giants and Sunshine Coast Lightning.

WHO ARE THE TOP GUNS
On past form that would be Sunshine Lighting and the Giants.
Lightening defeated the Giants in the 2017 decider to claim the inaugural trophy.
Lightning too the match 65-48 with Karla Mostert (Sunshine Coast Lightning) awarded the Most Valuable Player award.

Channel Nine will provided free-to-air TV every week from April to August.
HOW IT WILL START
The opening weekend is set to be a ripper with a NSW double-header.
There will be a grand final replay between Sunshine Lighting and the Giants along with a match between the NSW Swifts and Queensland Firebirds.
The double-header will be played at Qudos Bank Arena on April 29.
They other matches on the season opening weekend will see the Melbourne Vixens hosting the Magpies in a local derby and Adelaide Thunderbirds and the West Coast Fever clashing.
